Understanding Your Reports

Use the Reports page to review income vs. expenses, see spending by category, compare periods, and export your data.

1

Choose a period

Open Reports. Use the preset buttons at the top to pick This month, Last month, Last 3 months, This year, Last year, or set a Custom range.

All charts and figures on the page update to reflect the selected period.

2

Read the summary cards

The three summary cards at the top show Income, Expenses, and Net (income minus expenses) for the period.

Each card also shows a "vs prev" indicator — the change compared to the same length period immediately before. A green arrow means improvement; red means the opposite.

Tip: Net is the most important number: positive means you saved money in the period, negative means you spent more than you earned.

3

Spending by category

The Spending by category section shows a bar chart of your top spending categories, ordered largest first.

Each bar shows the absolute amount and the percentage of total spending. Use this to identify where most of your money goes.

4

Export your data

Use the CSV, Excel, or Print/PDF buttons at the top-right of the Reports page to export the current view.

CSV and Excel exports include all transaction rows for the selected period. PDF export prints the summary view as shown on screen.

Tip: Export your data at the end of each year for your records, or before switching apps — your financial data always belongs to you.
